Day Treatment Program

Addressing Trauma-Related Issues in 10-18 Year-Olds

Day treatment programs at The Village Network provide youth ages 10 to 18-years-old with nonresidential services to help them address their trauma-related issues. The goal is to provide them with structured and comprehensive services without hospitalization or residential care. Treatment services may include diagnostic assessment, psychological and/or psychiatric evaluation, individual, group and family therapy, academic instruction, expressive arts, art and recreational therapy, and after-care with community follow-up.

Many of these youth reside in our Treatment Foster Care Program. It is also available for youth stepping down from residential treatment and those suited to remain in a community-based setting. The program’s schedule may provide significant opportunity for youth to attend a local school and spend time with family.

Day Treatment programs are available at TVN-Akron, TVN-Columbus, TVN-Uhrichsville and TVN- Wooster.
