Billing & Insurance FAQs

  • How can I reach a billing representative?

For help with our online bill-pay option, please contact a billing representative at 330-202-3807 or toll-free at 800-638-3232 Ext 3807.

  • Do you offer payment plans?

In many cases, we can help establish a 6 or 12 month interest-free payment plan. To discuss payment options, please call our Accounting Director at 330-202-3838.

  • How often will I receive a statement from The Village Network?

Each month, you’ll receive a statement that lists what you owe. If your insurance plan does not cover the services you received, or you have not met your deductible, you are financially responsible for the service fees. Statements are sent until all payments are completed.

  • What is the $25 “No Show” charge on my statement?

The Village Network requires a 24 hour cancellation notice. Failure to comply with this notice may result in a $25.00 no-show fee.

  • What if I cannot pay the amount I owe in full?

You may contact a billing representative at 330-202-3807 or toll-free at 800-638-3232 Ext 3807 to discuss payment options.  You may also establish a payment plan by contacting our Accounting Director at 330-202-3838.

  • May I pay my bill with a credit card?

Yes. The Village Network accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. One-time credit card payments without a user registration can be made by clicking the “Pay My Bill” button above.

  • What if there is a mistake on my statement?

If you have billing questions, please call a Billing Representative.

  • How do I know if The Village Network contracts with my health plan?

To receive full insurance benefits, some insurance providers require patients to receive services with “in-network” or “participating providers.” Call your insurance provider to make sure The Village Network is in your network.

  • If The Village Network is “out of network,” may I still go there for services?

Yes. If you choose to go to an “out-of-network” provider, you may be required to pay a larger deductible or a greater portion of your bill. Call your insurance company to find out your health plan’s “out-of-network” options.

  • How can I be sure my insurance provider will pay my bills?

Your health plan may require certain services to be authorized, or pre-certified, before you receive them. Find out your health plan’s requirements by reading the information given to you by your insurance provider or employer, or by calling your insurance provider directly.

You also may call a Village Network billing representative to discuss insurance payment concerns at 330-202-3860 or 800-638-3232 Ext 3860 (toll-free).

  • How will I know how much I owe?

Your health plan may require a co-payment or deductible that will be due during appointment registration. Check with your provider on the amount that you will be responsible for at this time.

Following your behavioral health services, your insurance provider will send you an Explanation of Benefits (EOB), which will detail the amount it has paid, any non-covered or denied amounts, and the remaining balance that you are responsible for paying to The Village Network.

  • Does The Village Network bill secondary insurances?

Yes, The Village Network is dedicated to helping you receive full benefits from your insurance provider. You will be asked to provide complete insurance information upon registration. Be sure you have a copy of your insurance cards at that time. As a service to you, we will submit secondary claims along with required EOBs to your insurance provider. However, if your insurance provider doesn’t make payment within 90 days, we will ask you to pay the amount owed and include it on your monthly statement.

  • What if I don’t have health insurance?

The Village Network accepts Private Pay clients.  You will be required to pay the fee for the services at the time of the visit.  If you are in need of financial assistance, please refer to our Sliding Fee Scale found on this Client Portal.
