Email Inquiries

When inquiries are emailed to The Village Network website, we store the question and email address information so that we can respond electronically. Unless otherwise required by statute, we do not identify publicly who sends questions or comments to our web site. We do not obtain information that will allow us to personally identify who visits our site, unless you choose to provide such information to us.

Multiple people responsible for answering inquiries, reviewing applications, processing donations and distributing organization news, may view emails sent to The Village Network. If an individual cannot accurately answer your question, your query may be forwarded to another representative more experienced in that area. We do not forward your email outside of The Village Network nor do we collect your name and email address for any purpose other than to respond to your query. We will not disclose, sell, trade, rent, or otherwise reveal nonprofit supporters’ email addresses with any third party, unless required to do so by law or to contractors or agents for purposes of our business operations or is otherwise permissible as set forth herein.


In processing forms, The Village Network may receive information from creditors, affiliates and others. Our forms may also require you to submit contact information (e.g., name, email address) and demographic information (e.g., zip code, age, income level). The Village Network collects information through cookies and other similar technologies. Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to track and report website traffic. The Information generated, including your shortened IP address, is transmitted to Google. This information is used to evaluate users’ use of the domain, compile statistical reports on domain activity, and provide other services related to the site and internet use. Google may also collect information about users’ use of other websites.

The information generated from Google Analytics is used only to improve the Site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit the Site, rather than your name or other Personal Information. We do not combine the Information collected through the use of Google Analytics with your Personal Information. The Site uses CrazyEgg tracking to obtain information on how users are interacting with specific The Village Network web pages. Remarketing Services

This Site uses Google Ads, Facebook, and Bing Remarketing Services to advertise on third-party websites (including the networks of Google, Facebook, Bing and Yahoo!) to previous visitors of our Site. This could mean that we advertise to previous users who have not completed a task on our Site. For example, if a user fills out the contact form but does not submit it, we would then advertise to them on a search results page, or on a site within the third-party networks. Third-party vendors, including Google, Facebook, and Bing, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s past visits to the The Village Network Site.
