WOOSTER, OH – The Village Network is pleased to announce the appointment of Tammy Leaver as its Vice President of Human Resources. The appointment is a key part of the organization’s ongoing drive to support its mission to help youth and families achieve brighter futures.

The Village Network Appoints Tammy Leaver As Vice President Of Human ResourcesMs. Leaver joins The Village Network with more than 25 years of experience in human resources, organizational development, talent acquisition and corporate coaching. Having served as a Manager and Director of Human Resources at the Crisis Intervention & Recovery Center, a multi-site behavioral healthcare facility in Stark County for 12 years, Leaver is familiar with the demands and uniqueness of the behavioral health industry.  Most recently, she served as a Senior Human Resources Management Business Partner at Merritt in Mentor and a Senior Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development at ReliabilityFirst in Cleveland.  During her tenures, she served as a strategic partner and consultant to senior leadership helping these companies establish career path development programs, aligning human resources practices with business objectives, and enhancing employee engagement by improving the company culture.

Leaver is a Registered Corporate Coach and provides corporate and leadership development coaching to individuals and businesses and serves as a volunteer coach to students enrolled in the Executive MBA program at Kent State University.

Leaver holds an MBA from Kent State University and is certified by the Human Resources Certification Institute and the Society for Human Resource Management. She is also an accredited Change Management Specialist and Project Management Qualified by the Management and Strategy Institute.  Tammy resides in Uniontown and has three adult daughters and one grandson.
