Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT)™ Phase 1 Training

Phase I provides an in-depth introduction to the Neurosequential Model and the key principles that underlie the clinical application of model. The NMT Training Certification Program is a year-long training process that includes a combination of live and self-directed learning opportunities. Participants are required to join a study group that meets virtually twice per month to review learning and discuss case-studies.
Key features of the NMT Training Phase I Certification:
- Weekly or bi-weekly virtual study groups led by an NMT-certified mentor
- Discussion of case studies to reinforce learning and application
- Access to the Neurosequential Network’s robust training resources
- NMT Assessments and Brain Mapping exercises
- Designed for educators, agencies, behavioral health consultants and clinicians
This training is led by David Paxton, LISW-S, a certified NMT Phase III practitioner and approved NMT mentor with over a decade of experience in the Neurosequential Network. Under his mentorship, participants will benefit from personalized instruction and smaller, region-centric training groups compared to those hosted directly by the Neurosequential Network.
Gain the tools and insight needed to transform your trauma-informed care approach and achieve the Phase 1 NMT Certification in collaboration with Dr. Bruce Perry and the Neurosequential Network.
