MEDIA ADVISORY: The Village Network Highlights New Entrepreneurship Program at Celebration Day
The Village Network began its new Entrepreneurship Program this year and will feature the program at its annual Celebration Day event at Boys’ Village. Youth involved in the program will sell lemonade and baked goods as a way to practice the concepts they learned in the classroom. The Entrepreneurship Program presents traditional education in a way that inspires and promotes individuality, confidence and academic success through the spirit of entrepreneurship. In addition to the lemonade and baked goods stand, Celebration Day will also include free, family-friendly activities like inflatables, games, a rock wall, clowns, children’s crafts, face painting, lunch and a drawing to win 4 tickets to Cedar Point. An art auction will also take place where visitors can purchase art created by youth at The Village Network.
