The Village Network is Hiring Multiple Positions to Meet Staffing Needs of Rapid Program Growth

WOOSTER- To keep up with its rapid program growth, The Village Network is hiring multiple positions to continue to provide necessary care to its growing client base.

“Last year, we cared for more than 5,000 clients through a variety of our programs and services,” President and CEO of The Village Network Richard Graziano said. “This fall, The Village Network was awarded three large grants, which will allow us to continue to positively transform the lives of the people we serve.”

The first grant is from Greif Packaging Charitable Trust and will bring The Village Network’s clinical therapists into Ohio schools, specifically in Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio. These therapists will meet with students at school and address the specific mental health needs of students in the school district. The second grant, known as Rapid Response, will allow The Village Network to intervene with at-risk youth involved in the Columbus court system. The third grant is a statewide grant known as Bridges, which was awarded to a cohort of OACCA members. Bridges is designed to create an action plan for youth who are aging out of the foster care system. Programming will be divided into five regions, with The Village Network as the lead organization for three of those five.

“Our programs have such a profound impact, so the more we can do the better,” Director of Human Resources Samantha Weber said. “I’m glad we’re going to be able to impact more people’s lives.”

In order to appropriately care for students, at-risk youth and youth aging out foster care, The Village Network needs to hire at least 19 new therapists. In addition to hiring therapists, The Village Network will also hire administrative and case manager positions to staff its new grant programs.

“We are already in need of that many jobs, but that need could easily continue to grow,” Weber said.
