The Village Network Selects LEAP As New Educational Partner
WOOSTER, Ohio — The Village Network is proud to announce that they have selected LEAP as a new partner for education services at the Wooster Residential Campus.
Effective July 1, LEAP will begin leading education services at the Boys’ Village School, which was previously operated by Wooster City Schools.
The amicable decision was made in response to the higher level of care required by the youth being admitted to the Wooster Residential Campus. With many of the youth suffering from higher levels of trauma, they need more of a specialized academic environment.
“We are extremely grateful to Wooster City Schools and their staff members’ for more than 20 years of service to our youth,” said Richard Graziano, CEO of The Village Network. “Moving forward, I am excited to see how LEAP’s innovative and specialized education instruction positively impacts our youth.”
For over 16 years, LEAP has provided evidenced-based, psychoeducational services to students who require a more specialized educational setting than is available in the public school.
With a team comprised of educators with intervention and behavioral specialist backgrounds, LEAP currently provide services to students in eight different locations, including Crestview, Garfield Heights, Green, Kent, and Rittman school districts.
“Our staff is passionate about helping kids who have highly specialized needs,” says George Linberger, Director and President of LEAP. “We are excited to begin working hand-in-hand with The Village Network and helping their residential youth to reach their maximum potential academically, emotionally and socially.”
